In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 music and podcasts applications on the Android platform in Madagascar showcased diverse performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides an insightful overview of the trends for each app.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts displayed a steady revenue growth, peaking at around $342 in the last week of April. Weekly downloads saw a decline from 1.5K in early April to approximately 803 by the end of June. Active users fluctuated but maintained a stable range between 30K to 34K throughout the quarter.

YouTube Music did not generate any revenue during this period. However, weekly downloads varied, starting at 1.1K in early April and dropping to 588 by the end of June. Active users also showed a slight decline from 7.7K to around 6.7K.

Unlimited MP3 Music Downloader had consistent weekly downloads, starting at 536 and ending at 608. Active users increased from 1.2K in early April to approximately 1.5K by the end of June.
